Dan Weinfurter is the founder of Chicago Growth Consultants, a boutique consulting firm that specializes in helping clients drive profitability and growth. The primary focus of the firm is helping clients improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
Before starting Chicago Growth Consultants, Dan was the Chief Executive Officer of
Accretive Solutions, a national consulting and executive search firm that delivers business solutions to help companies manage and improve their financial, operational and IT performance.
Prior to joining Accretive Solutions, Dan was the founding CEO of Capital H Group LLC, a Chicago-based international talent and leadership solutions organization, ranked on Inc. Magazine’s list of the fastest growing private companies in 2007, 2008 and 2009, and sold to Kenexa in 2010.
Before serving as the CEO of Capital H, Dan was the founder and chief executive of Parson Group, LLC. Parson Group is an international firm focused on providing consulting services to the finance, accounting and business systems areas of large organizations, and was ranked as the #1 fastest growing private company in the U.S. in the October 2000 issue of Inc. Magazine. In May 2002, Parson Group was sold to Management Consulting Group, plc, a UK-based public company listed on the London exchange, and renamed Parson Consulting.
Prior to forming Parson Group, Dan was the number two executive for Alternative Resources Corporation (ARC) which became the second best performing IPO on NASDAQ in 1994. ARC was ranked as the #13 company on the 1993 Inc. 500 list, and ranked #40 on the 1994 Forbes list as a public company. He started his career with the General Electric Company in 1979.
Dan received both a B.S. and MBA from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He currently serves as a Director for Thermo Fluids, Inc (a CIVC portfolio company), Talent Drive, Inc. and is the past Chairman of the President’s Advisory Council for the YWCA of Chicago. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He serves as a volunteer mentor in the Clinton Foundation Council on Entrepreneurship in conjunction with
Inc. Magazine. He has been extensively quoted in publications such as the
New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, CFO Magazine, The Chicago Tribune and
The Chicago Sun Times, among others.
