Stan Calderon Joins Colonnade as Chairman
November 2011
Stan Calderon has joined Colonnade Advisors as Chairman. Stan has served as chairman, chief executive, and/or president of several commercial banks in the course of his 40 year career in the Midwest and Texas.
"Stan's consistent good judgment and many relationships of trust make him a great addition to Colonnade. We are excited to be working with him," said Stuart Miller, founder of Colonnade.

Immediately prior to joining Colonnade, Stan served as a consultant for two private equity groups, Spring Financial Group, Inc. and LAMB Partners LLC.
Stan began his banking career at Purdue National Bank of Lafayette, Indiana, where he ultimately became President and CEO of this $600 million community bank that was acquired by Banc One Corporation in 1986.
In 1991, Bank One transferred Stan to Texas where he served as Director of Community Banking, taking responsibility for 24 community banks throughout the State totaling $4 billion in assets. In 1993, Stan became Chairman and CEO of Bank One-Chicago, a position he held until Bank One's merger with First Chicago/NBD in 1998.
Following the merger, Stan served as Midwest Regional Manager of Middle Market Banking, taking responsibility for Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin, including American National Bank in Chicago. Stan elected to take early retirement from Bank One in March 2003.
In April 2004, Stan returned to banking as President and Chief Executive Officer of CIB Marine Bancshares, a troubled $3 billion multi-bank holding company that was successfully recapitalized under his leadership. He relinquished his position as CEO in January 2007 but remained a board member of CIBM until 2009.
In May 2009, Stan became President and Chief Executive Officer of Baytree National Bank of Lake Forest, Illinois. Baytree was operating under a consent order mandating that a new CEO be hired and that a substantial capital injection be attained. Under Stan’s leadership, Baytree was successfully recapitalized by new investors in January 2010.
